How is hair transplantation done?
Before hair transplantation, the direction of hair follicle growth and the donor area are accurately determined. Hair follicles are extracted from the nape area with the help of very small micro motors with 0.6 mm-0.8 mm incision tip. The hair follicles are transplanted in the hair structure according to the direction of growth of the follicles. Thus, the transplantation process is completed in a very short time. The most important point during extraction and transplantation is not to damage any hair tissue through the opened channels.
When are the results of hair transplantation visible?
Within the first 6 months after the hair transplant operation, 50% of the results are visible. It takes between 12 and 18 months to get full results.
How long does a hair transplant operation take?
It takes between 6 and 8 hours.
The transplanted hair has fallen out, should I be worried?
It is normal for transplanted hair to fall out. Even if the hair falls out, the transplanted hair follicles remain intact. It should not be forgotten that hair transplantation is a process that requires patience.
